PERQ/HCI™ AIM
Version 5.5 Launches: Now Includes Direct Links to
SRDS Listings and PERQ/HCI Pharmaceutical Ad Images
Princeton,
NJ (January 11, 2005) – PERQ/HCI recently
released AIM™ Version 5.5 with new functionality
for planners at agencies and publishers. New features
make AIM the most comprehensive healthcare planning
solution available. PERQ/HCI and SRDS are pleased to
announce that now, with one click, AIM users can link
directly to SRDS publication listing data and JARScan™ pharmaceutical
ad images from within all AIM applications.
Those
who subscribe to both AIM and the SRDS Business Publication
Advertising Source® can access detailed, continuously
updated SRDS information. Kathleen Henderson, PERQ/HCI
General Manager and Senior Vice-President, states: “Media
planners will benefit from simultaneous access to in-depth
data from PERQ/HCI in conjunction with the essential
SRDS data for effective planning.” Henderson
continues, “This collaboration between VNU
sister companies means easier analysis of information,
streamlined decision-making and increased productivity
for our shared clients.”
Agency
and publisher clients currently use AIM to evaluate
healthcare journal performance (using FOCUS™ and Media-Chek®/APEX™ data),
perform competitive audits and create and maintain
ad schedules. Subscriber feedback is the foundation
for these enhancements to make the system more efficient
and powerful.
Bernadette
Cognac, Director of Client Services for SRDS, explains: “Now
PERQ/HCI and SRDS subscribers can link to essential
SRDS information, including comprehensive advertising
rates, circulation figures, contact information,
and issue and closing dates. Listings also supply
direct links to ABC and BPA publisher statements,
publication Web sites and online media kits.”
Subscribers
to both AIM and JARScan will benefit from direct links
to pharmaceutical ad images from within AIM. Pharmaceutical
ads from over 600 medical journals are coded and scanned
by PERQ/HCI for easy retrieval and analysis. This searchable
online database eases the process of performing competitive
analysis and adds impact to new business presentations. To
